I’m Vincent Van Altemus, named after the renowned artist Vincent Van Gogh. Born and raised in the picturesque Napa Valley, California, I grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the valley and the wine industry. My father worked tirelessly to build a vineyard, and I was there every step of the way, learning the value of hard work and perseverance.
From a young age, art became my passion. Whether I was doodling during class or sketching on scrap paper, I couldn’t stop creating. In high school, I also joined the football team as a freshman. Though I was one of the smallest on the field, I refused to back down. Through hard work and dedication, I became a starting player and helped lead our team to an undefeated league record and a second-place finish in the Section Championship.
The lessons I learned on the field—resilience, dedication, and leadership—have stayed with me throughout my life and shaped my approach to art. For me, art isn’t just a hobby; it’s a therapeutic outlet, a way to quiet my racing mind and bring my dreams to life. I love creating from my imagination and envisioning what the future could look like through my work.
Art is a driving force in my life, and I am committed to continuously learning, growing, and pushing myself to new heights in my craft.

Thank you! I will get back to you soon!
